Stayed at Hyatt and they had an ululani right there on the property!!!! Best shave ice around town! My favs are POG, Haleakala, and sunset beach. Always so delicious. All gluten free and vegan cream topping available. All the syrups are GF. They are careful with allergies and all of their syrups are gluten free. they didn't have a specific menu-but almost all syrups are dairy free too. We'll be back!!! We hit the jackpot! Delicious! Also the sign said the syrups were made with sugar and not corn syrup. We had shave ice from 2 other places while on Maui this was by far the best place. Such yummy shave ice! Very hard to go wrong here if you stick to the basics (some toppings would be off limits). Most smooth consistency, similar to Italian ice but not as creamy. What days are Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice open? I don't know abt the different toppings but I did try the coconut ice cream and didn't get sick. My son got coffee,coconut, and chocolate with some condensed milk. The best shave ice in Maui! All flavors are gluten free. So good, Both my daughter and I have Celiac and we ate here 3 times with no problems . Syrups are gluten free and best shaved ice on Maui! Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice has 4.5 stars. Watch out thougha small will easily feed two people. one note though - its now at 790 Front St. across the street and up one block from where it used to be. They make all of the flavours themselves and they are all GF. A micro might be good for one person and you can have up to three flavors in one serving. The snow cap (sweetened condensed cream) is not GF but the haupia cream is. I think the ice cream has gluten though. not only 'gf', but pretty allergen free. Best shave ice, ever! The cashier told me everything was gluten free but to stay away from the ice cream because it could be cross contaminated by the manufacturer. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
